Primary Purpose:

Ensure department appearance, quality, variety, safety, and food safety standards are maintained. Support Hannaford's strategy, build customer relations, and promote customer awareness with enthusiasm.

Qualifications:

• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lb. frequently; 75 lb. on occasion.
• Reach shoulder level or above while lifting 30 lbs.
• Stand and walk continuously.
• Meet department activity standards.
• Perform bending, reaching, grasping, and lifting at waist level.
• Use hands for feeling objects and handling tools.
• Handle cleaning materials, packaging, and food substances.
• Work in cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes.

Preferred Requirements:

• Assist customers with product location and selection.
• Perform stocking, culling, and rotation per guidelines.
• Prepare products according to standards.
• Maintain cleanliness as per policy.

Compensation:

Salary ranges from $15.00 to $19.65 per hour.
