Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide PRN rehabilitation services at Blackstone Valley in Whitinsville, MA. You will evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, and deliver exercises to improve mobility and safety.

Join a collaborative skilled nursing rehab team, coordinate discharge with the care team, document care, and mentor PTAs. MA license required; new graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license.
• Strong evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' strength, balance, gait, and functional mobility to establish individualized treatment goals.
• Develop and deliver treatment plans for residents recovering from surgery, illness, injury, or changes in physical function.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, and transfer practice tailored to each resident's abilities and precautions.
• Educate residents and caregivers on assistive devices, fall prevention, and strategies for safe mobility.
• Assess progress, adjust treatment approaches, and coordinate discharge recommendations with the care team.
• Complete timely clinical documentation and provide direction to PTAs involved in residents' care.

Blackstone Valley | Whitinsville, MA $60–$65/hour | PRN

Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide PRN rehabilitation services at Blackstone Valley in Whitinsville, MA. Help residents improve mobility, rebuild strength, and move safely through their daily routines while working with a collaborative skilled nursing rehab team.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate residents' strength, balance, gait, and functional mobility to establish individualized treatment goals.


• Develop and deliver treatment plans for residents recovering from surgery, illness, injury, or changes in physical function.


• Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, and transfer practice tailored to each resident's abilities and precautions.
