Job summary

Lynchburg Health & Rehabilitation Center in Lynchburg, Virginia is seeking a caring Physical Therapist licensed in Virginia or eligible for licensure to join our rehab team. The role focuses on evaluating residents, creating treatment plans, and guiding discharge planning within a state-of-the-art rehab gym.

As part of our experienced team, you will supervise PTAs and aides, document evaluations and treatments, and help residents regain independence and return home to family and an active life.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Virginia or eligible for licensure.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist evaluates residents, develops effective treatment plans, and obtains approval for service from the referring physician. Treats residents according to the physician’s treatment plan. Participates in discharge planning. Records evaluation, treatment, and charges. Supervises Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides. Screens residents for potential benefit from PT intervention.

Requirements

• Virginia Physical Therapy License
