Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our home health team in Georgia. You will help patients maintain, restore and enhance movement and function, and conduct periodic reexaminations with discharge planning as needed.

The role requires a current state license, CAPTE-accredited degree, and typically at least one year of home health PT experience. Amedisys offers flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the state you're assigned to work in.
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program (CAPTE).
• One year of related physical therapy experience for home health care, or approval from regional clinical leaders with mentoring if less than one year.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy specific to the state you\'re assigned to work in.
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy educational program as set by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• One year related physical therapy experience for PTs entering home health care to ensure that knowledge and skills are sufficient to safely provide physical therapy services to patients.
• If less than one year of experience, approval from regional clinical leaders is required as well as appropriate mentoring and/or participating in a residency program.
• Current CPR certification.
