The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with the patient's needs, goals, and physician direction. This role is responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring effective return to community activities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans focused on patient progress.
- Document care clearly, accurately, and timely, in compliance with applicable guidelines.
- Provide supervision and educational support to students in the program.
- Participate in professional development and maintain necessary licensure and certifications.
- Adhere to state practice acts and ethical standards in all professional conduct.
- Engage in organizational performance improvement initiatives and feedback processes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Active license for the state where work will be performed.
