Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Physical Therapist, Outpatient Neuro for a rotating shift in Bartonsville, Pennsylvania. This 13-week contract role focuses on outpatient neuro rehabilitation for patients recovering from concussions, vestibular issues, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurological conditions, with opportunities for light orthopedic interventions.

You will assess patients, create individualized plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team to optimize mobility and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active PA Physical Therapist license or eligibility.
• BLS and CPR certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient PT experience preferred.
• Experience in neurological rehabilitation highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and adjust treatment strategies based on patients' progress.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities and equipment, including balance Tudor perturbation treadmill, Virtualis, and more.
• Document patient care and progress using an electronic health record system (EPIC).
• Work collaboratively with occupational and speech therapists.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and wellness strategies.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, focusing on outpatient neuro rehabilitation services. You will work with patients recovering from conditions such as concussions, vestibular issues, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurological disorders, as well as provide light orthopedic treatments. The role includes utilizing specialized equipment and therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' functional mobility and overall quality of life.
