ARMStaffing seeks a Pediatric Physical Therapist for outpatient rehabilitation in California. The assignment is a 13-week contract with 5x8-hour days and weekend coverage every 3-4 weeks. You will evaluate, plan, and implement PT interventions for pediatric patients in acute care settings.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. This role involves providing comprehensive physical therapy services to pediatric patients, encompassing evaluations, treatment plans, and therapeutic interventions in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.
• Implement therapy interventions to improve mobility and function.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Physical Therapy License (PT) in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• A graduate degree in Physical Therapy (MS or DPT) is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care, ideally within a pediatric outpatient setting.
