Aspire Health Alliance is seeking a Peer Specialist to support adults in the ACCS program across the South Shore. This part-time role involves rehabilitation and support work, mentoring clients, and coordinating outreach with families under clinical supervision.

You will provide peer counseling drawing on lived experience to help clients engage in recovery, with a schedule of Mon, Wed, Sat and a supportive, stigma-free environment.

Qualificações

• Current or previous experience as a consumer of mental health services required.
• High School Diploma required.
• Peer Specialist Certification required within 6 months from date of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out rehabilitation and support functions and assist in treatment.
• Provide education, support, and consultation to families.
• Provide crisis intervention under the clinical supervision of staff with professional degrees.
• Provide mentor and outreach services to ACCS clients.
• Provide peer counseling and support to validate clients’ experiences and encourage recovery.
