Job summary

Eyemart Express in Grand Junction, CO is hiring a Part Time Front Desk Optometrist’s Technician. The Dr’s Tech assists the store Doctor, greets patients, performs pre-tests, and supports contact lens sales while upholding Eyemart’s standards and everyday low prices.

You’ll work in a fast-paced retail optical environment, gain experience in insurance processing, data entry, and product knowledge, with on-the-job training available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail, customer service, or sales preferred.
• Optical industry experience is a plus but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all patients.
• Assist the Doctor with pre-tests and optical procedures.
• Sell contact lenses and communicate Eyemart’s promotions.
• Process payments and use the in-house POS system.
• Maintain patient files and data entry in the computer system.
• Order and dispense contact lenses; assist with inventory and merchandising.
