Job summary

Fulton Center for Nursing and Healing in Atlanta is seeking a Cook to join our food service team for an early morning shift from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM. You will assist with meal prep, follow dietary guidelines, and operate kitchen equipment under the Food Services Manager.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of healthcare kitchen experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Cook:

• Assisting with food preparation following established guidelines and under the direction of the Food Services Manager
• Creating nutritious dishes based on dietary guidelines for each meal
• Skillfully operating kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, and more
• Understanding menu substitutions and accurately recording them
• Providing a warm and friendly demeanor to patients, family, and visitors
• Adhering to safety protocols and corporate compliance standards

What We’re Looking For:

At least 1 year of experience (healthcare kitchen experience is a bonus!)

High school diploma or equivalent

ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to get certified within 90 days.
