Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a Lunch & Recess Support to supervise kindergarten through 4th grade during lunch and recess at 1000 N. Randall Rd, Elgin, IL.

This part-time role focuses on safety, positive behavior, and a Christ-centered environment in the cafeteria, playground, and indoor spaces. You will collaborate with teachers and staff, reinforce school expectations, respond to incidents, administer basic first aid, and help with transitions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with elementary children preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide active supervision of K–4 students during lunch and recess.
• Monitor students in cafeteria, playground and indoor spaces.
• Follow school safety procedures for emergencies, injuries and illness.
• Administer basic first aid as needed and report incidents.
• Support transitions to and from lunch and recess.
• Reinforce school expectations and appropriate behavior.
