The City of Fort Myers is seeking a part-time Lifeguard to supervise on-site water activities, provide safety information, perform rescues, administer first aid, and assist with pool maintenance. You will patrol the pool area, enforce rules, collect fees for classes, and support program members.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, Lifeguard certification, and AED; drug/alcohol testing is required.

Formación

• High School or GED required.
• Mandatory Drug/Alcohol Testing.
• Preferred: Lifeguard experience.

Responsabilidades

• Cautions swimmers regarding unsafe areas.
• Rescue swimmers in danger and provide first aid.
• Maintain order in swimming areas.
• Inspect facilities for cleanliness and safety hazards.
• Attend in-service training and maintain required certifications.
• Teach/assist with swimming lessons.
• Collect fees for classes/programs.
• Perform pool maintenance and cleaning.
