Job summary

CENTERS, LLC is seeking a lifeguard to ensure patron safety and pool area supervision at our facilities. The role requires current lifeguard training and related certifications, with preference for prior lifeguard experience.

Responsibilities include emergency response, policy enforcement, customer service, and coordination with staff during trainings and shifts. The position emphasizes safety, training adherence, and facility maintenance as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current lifeguard training certification from Red Cross, Ellis, YMCA, or equivalent.
• First Aid, AED, and CPR-PR certifications required.
• Previous lifeguard experience preferred.
• Water Safety Instructor or Lifeguard Instructor certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prevent and respond to emergency situations.
• Identify and report malfunctions or irregularities of equipment or facility.
• Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings and in-service training.
• Enforce all rules and regulations.
• Provide customer service.
• Lifeguard according to facility, state code and Lifeguard Training standards.
• Supervise proper use of swimming pools and supporting facilities.
• Maintain current certifications in lifeguard training and CPR for professionals.
• Perform pool maintenance duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report any malfunctions or irregularities of equipment or facility
• Attend regularly scheduled staff meeting and in service training
• Enforce all rules and regulations
• Provide customer service
• Lifeguard according to Facility, State Code and Lifeguard Training standards
• Supervise proper use of swimming pools along with supporting facilities
• Maintain current certifications in lifeguard training, First Aid for the professional rescuer, and CPR for the professional rescuer
• Perform pool maintenance duties as assigned
• Other duties as assigned
