Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved school of Physical Therapy.
• Minimum experience: 1 year as Physical Therapist I in Alameda Health System; or 2+ years in related clinical setting.
• Current California Physical Therapy license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a small group of physical therapists, aides, and students under limited supervision.
• Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Administer evaluations, determine device needs, and delegate tasks to PT team members.
• Communicate with staff, physicians, case managers, and insurers as appropriate.
• Complete administrative forms for leave, payroll, statistics, and documentation of patient care and charges.
• Lead scheduling, coverage, and precept PT students and new staff as assigned.
