Job summary

Parks Hospitality Group is hiring a Laundry Attendant who will operate commercial laundry equipment and maintain clean linens for Tru by Hilton Raleigh Durham Airport. You will also safely shuttle guests to airport terminals and car rentals as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work weekends/holidays. Full-time benefits include medical/dental from day one, PTO, and growth opportunities within the group.

• Experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial laundry equipment (washers, dryers, irons) following safety guidelines.
• Sort and pre-treat linens and garments for washing.
• Load and unload machines, manage capacity and distribution.
• Monitor cycles and adjust settings for thorough cleaning/drying.
• Inspect items for quality, remove damaged pieces.
• Fold/stack linens and store per hotel procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry area and restock supplies.
• Safely operate the hotel shuttle and transport guests as needed.
• Follow safety, sanitation guidelines and report maintenance issues.

At Parks Hospitality Group, we are looking for a dependable Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating laundry equipment and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of linens and garments, contributing to the comfort and satisfaction of our guests.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines, according to safety guidelines and procedures.
• Sort and pre-treat soiled linens and garments to remove stains and prepare them for washing.
• Load and unload laundry machines, ensuring proper capacity and distribution.
• Monitor laundry cycles and adjust settings to ensure thorough cleaning and drying.
• Inspect laundered items for quality control, removing damaged or stained items.
• Fold and stack clean linens and garments, following hotel procedures for storage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room, including regular cleaning of machines and surfaces.
• Restock linens in guest areas as necessary.
• Monitor inventory levels and request replenishment of laundry supplies.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.
• Report maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors or Engineering.
• Assist with other housekeeping or laundry-related tasks as required.
• Safely operate the hotel shuttle, following all traffic laws and company policies, while providing excellent service.
• Transport guests to designated locations at the airport and car rental.

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy loads.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to drive in various weather conditions and ensure the shuttle is maintained in excellent condition.
