Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of this job is to clean office space, restrooms, break and lunchroom areas, remove trash, operate floor cleaner and power washers, and clean up spills.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, and prepare for duties at the start of shift.
2. Clean and vacuum floors in office and conference spaces.
3. Clean and mop tile floors in restrooms and break areas.
4. Remove trash, operate compactor and bailer, clean spills, and use power washer for sidewalks.
5. Dust and wash surfaces.
6. Wash mirrors, glass, surfaces, floors, and equipment in all break rooms, lunchrooms, and restrooms.
7. Resupply items as needed.
8. Use floor cones to mark hazardous floor conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate and understand safety regulations and company policies.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodation.
• Ability to learn to use equipment and tools.
• Complete the company's introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.
• Read, write, and communicate in English related to job and safety regulations.
• Meet performance standards including attendance and safety.
• Wear proper clothing and shoes as approved for the job.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum 4-hour shifts, depending on business needs.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand 55%, walk 45% of the time.
• Category IV: lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

• Understanding company policies and procedures.
