Job summary

All Saints’ Episcopal School of Fort Worth is seeking a part-time Head Softball Coach to lead the program, train players, and promote sportsmanship and character. The role requires dedication to developing student‑athletes and aligning the team with the school's mission.

You will work closely with the Director of Athletics, plan practices, implement coaching strategies, ensure safety, and manage scheduling and equipment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree and teaching certification preferred.
  • Experience coaching or participating in sport.
  • Strong knowledge of coaching techniques.
  • Ability to instruct and supervise student athletes.
  • Ability to manage confidential information.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bus Driver certification prior to the start of coaching duties.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Director of Athletics and Athletic leadership team.
  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the softball program.
  • Develop a strong and competitive team that embodies sportsmanship and character.
  • Plan and lead softball practices and training sessions.
  • Implement effective coaching strategies to enhance players' skills.
  • Strategically plan for and coach softball meets.
  • Analyze opponents and develop game plans for competitive play.
  • Foster the development of players' skills, character, and leadership qualities.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to student-athletes.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of student-athletes during practices and games.
  • Oversee administrative tasks related to the softball program, including scheduling, budgeting, and equipment management.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with players, parents, and school staff.
  • Provide regular updates on team activities and schedules.
  • Role modeling good sportsmanship and maintaining appropriate conduct toward athletes, officials, and spectators.
  • Working collegially with fellow coaches and Athletic Department staff.
  • Responsible for the physical and spiritual well-being of the athletes during the sporting activity.
  • Other duties as assigned related to this position.

Job Title: Part Time Head Softball Coach

Job Description

All Saints’ Episcopal School is looking for energetic and motivated individuals to add to our coaching team. This fun part-time Head coach’s position must have a passion for working with children with the ultimate goal of making a positive impact on as many children as possible. The responsibility of a Head coach will be to develop, train, and educate students in their respective sports. As the Head Softball Coach at All Saints' Episcopal School, you will provide leadership and guidance to the swim program, overseeing the development of student‑athletes and fostering a competitive and positive team environment. Your role is crucial in aligning the program with the school's mission and values.


Job Responsibilities


  • Working closely with the Director of Athletics and Athletic leadership team.
