Primary Purpose

As an Expeditor, you act as the customer service liaison for the Hannaford To Go department, representing the store both on the phone and in person at pickup. Your role ensures smooth and quick customer pickups and deliveries, with a focus on accuracy and quality of fresh items. Typical responsibilities include:

• Organizing and prioritizing shop and pickup processes
• Conducting order reviews
• Checking code dates and product quality, especially produce
• Counting parcels for accuracy
• Staging orders and consolidating bags
• Setting up shopper carts
• Partnering with department leaders for item preparation
• Dispensing pickup and delivery orders to customers and drivers
• Monitoring delivery and Flybuy orders through dashboards
• Answering customer calls and addressing questions
• Adhering to wait time and order completeness goals
• Handling cash pickups and logging as required
• Verifying IDs and adhering to age-restricted item policies

Responsibilities

• Handle return-to-stock items promptly, focusing on perishables

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Perform repetitive motions while standing/walking
• Wear shopping device hands-free

• Handle multiple shopping carts and substances like cleaning materials and produce
• Read screens and documents with sufficient visual acuity

Salary range: $15.90 - $21.60 per hour
