Job summary

Snow College seeks a Night Library Assistant to close the library and oversee front-desk services on evenings. The schedule includes 5:30 p.m.–12:00 a.m. on Mon and Wed, with alternating weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include checking items in/out, assisting patrons, and supervising student workers. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and strong written/spoken communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experienced and comfortable with basic computer skills/programs.

• Learn the inter-library loan system and be able to request, mail, and receive items.
• Assist students with copying and scanning.
• Be flexible, positive, and willing to help as needed.

The Night Library Assistant is responsible for closing the library and overseeing all front-desk library services.
The schedule is 5:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Monday & Wednesday, every other weekend Saturday 12:00pm-6:00pm, Sunday 5:pm-11:pm during spring and fall semesters only.
