The primary purpose of this job is to use various kitchen equipment to prepare and serve food, including weighing, slicing, cooking, and packaging deli items.

Duties And Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Review work schedule, prepare equipment and supplies, and comply with PPE requirements at shift start.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, fried foods, pizza, and merchandise items per plan.
• Serve customers, slice meats and cheeses, and package deli foods.
• Work in the grab-and-go section.
• Produce items for the hot bar and display cases as per SOP.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, and floors.
• Track and record loss using known loss tracking (KLT).

Job Tasks

• Make and display sandwiches, wraps, and other deli items.
• Prepare and cook pizza and fried chicken, then package for sale.
• Assist customers with slicing, weighing, and packaging deli products.
• Handle roasted and fried chicken, including preparation, roasting, frying, and packaging.
• Clean equipment and work areas regularly.
• Order and produce smoked products if applicable.
• Use cleaning tools and sanitizers to maintain hygiene standards.
• Perform record-keeping and loss tracking functions.

General Rules

• Report accidents and injuries promptly.
• Follow safety instructions and wear PPE as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Follow company policies, including emergency procedures and training requirements.

Qualifications
