Job summary

Nordic Knots in New York is seeking a part-time E-commerce & Customer Experience Specialist to deliver a best-in-class shopping experience on weekends, offering personalized interior design guidance and timely solutions.

You will manage orders, returns, and communications via Zendesk, coordinate with digital operations, and help keep our e-commerce running smoothly in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Experience in interior design and customer advisory roles.
• Native-level English with excellent written communication.
• Experience in customer service, e-commerce, or client-facing roles.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with multitasking ability.
• Proactive, adaptable in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Zendesk experience is a plus.
• Fluent in another language is a plus.
• Available to work Saturday & Sunday every week.

We are looking for an PT E-commerce & Customer Experience Specialist to join our Nordic Knots team in New York. We are searching for someone with experience in interior design and a passion for creating flawless customer experiences. You should be highly organized, service-minded, and excited to help customers transform their spaces with timeless design.

The Role

As an PT E-commerce & Customer Experience Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering a best-in-class shopping experience on weekends. From offering personalized interior design advice to providing prompt, thoughtful solutions, you will ensure every interaction leaves a lasting positive impression. You will also be a crucial link between our customers and our digital operations, making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Your Responsibilities

• Advise and guide customers on interior design choices and product selections via email, chat, or phone.

• Handle orders and customer communications through Zendesk, keeping conversations organized and ensuring all inquiries are answered within set time targets.

About You

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $20 - $26 per hour.

- Company sponsored medical plan (100% medical coverage)

- Pro rata 15 days paid Vacation every 12 months starting (20 days after 2 years of Service)
