Palmen-Auto-Stores in Wisconsin is seeking a Dealer Trade Driver to transport vehicles between dealerships, auctions, and client locations. You will perform inspections, handle documentation, and maintain professional, customer-focused service. Commitment to safety and timely deliveries is essential.

You will work with dealership staff to coordinate routes, report issues promptly, and uphold company policies while representing Palmen with courtesy and care.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Experience in Driving preferred, especially with handling different vehicle types.
• Attention to Detail to ensure proper handling and documentation of all vehicle transports.
• Dependability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Transport dealership vehicles to and from other dealerships, auction houses, customer locations, or service facilities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections for damage and cleanliness of vehicles.
• Complete required paperwork including delivery confirmations, mileage records, and vehicle condition reports.
• Coordinate with dealership staff to receive instructions and update on delivery status; report issues or delays to the supervisor.
• Represent the dealership professionally when interacting with other dealerships, vendors, and clients.
• Operate vehicles safely and in compliance with traffic laws and dealership policies.

The Dealer Trade Driver plays a key role in the automotive dealership by transporting vehicles between dealerships, auction houses, and other designated locations. The driver ensures safe and timely deliveries of vehicles and supports dealership operations by maintaining a high level of customer service and care in handling vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport Vehicles: Drive dealership vehicles to and from other dealerships, auction houses, customer locations, or service facilities as directed.
• Vehicle Inspection: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to check for any damage, ensuring that each vehicle is clean and in proper working order before and after transport.
• Documentation: Complete all required paperwork accurately, including delivery confirmations, mileage records, and any relevant vehicle condition reports.
• Communication: Coordinate with dealership staff to receive instructions and update on delivery status. Report any issues or delays immediately to the supervisor.
• Customer Service: Represent the dealership professionally when interacting with other dealerships, vendors, and clients, ensuring a positive experience for all parties involved.
• Vehicle Safety: Operate vehicles in a safe, courteous manner, adhering to all traffic laws, dealership policies, and safety guidelines.
