Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Petaluma, CA is seeking a store team member to help customers locate products and provide fast, friendly checkout experiences. You will participate in truck unloads, stocking, and planograms to keep the store well merchandised and in stock.

You’ll engage customers on rewards, enroll them in private label cards, and support omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS while upholding SOPs and safety standards in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves.
• Able to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and help customers shop.
• Execute fast and accurate checkout with cash handling.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain store recovery standards and ensure in-stock merchandise.
• Promote the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Engage customers about the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Support Omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; ensure safety and compliance.
