Job description

Store - PORTLAND, OR

Position Overview

This position primarily involves closing shifts. You will help maintain front-end operations and ensure an excellent customer experience. The role requires a candidate who is customer and sales-driven, working with the FT Customer Experience Manager to meet goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist Store Manager in ensuring compliance with SOPs and company policies, and manage store conditions and results.
  2. Follow all front-end policies, achieve KPIs, and manage team performance.
  3. Plan and execute in-store events according to company programs.
  4. Lead omnichannel processes and manage shrink and safety programs.
  5. Assist with cash reconciliation, bank deposits, inventory processes, and onboarding of new team members.
  6. Train and coach customer experience team members; participate in performance management and talent development.
  7. Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
  8. Provide excellent customer service, including helping locate products and offering solutions.
  9. Participate in truck unloading and stocking, manage shrink and safety programs, and cross-train in custom framing sales and production.
  10. In stores without a Framing Manager, lead delivery of custom framing solutions, planning and managing workload in partnership with the Store Manager.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Retail management experience preferred.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
  • Ability to stand for long periods, move throughout the store, and perform bending, lifting, and reaching.
  • Work may include outdoor activities, handling heavy boxes, and working in a climate-controlled or non-controlled environment.
  • Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
