Job Description: Coffee Barista at The GIANT Company

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming and engaging with customers.
• Recommend products and facilitate purchases to enhance customer experience.
• Demonstrate product knowledge through sampling and product demonstrations.
• Prepare high-quality products following company standards, ensuring visual appeal and safety.
• Adhere to merchandising, stock, rotation, and storage standards.
• Maintain a professional appearance during every shift.

Store Profitability and Learning:

• Follow cash handling procedures and register policies.
• Manage inventory and stock levels effectively.
• Learn and demonstrate all standards of product and conduct as per company and Starbucks standards.

Qualifications:

• Preferably supervisory or barista experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. with valid identification.
• Meet company performance standards, including attendance.
• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills; food handling certification preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Minimum shift: 4 hours, with flexibility based on business needs.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.; stand for 55% of the time; walk for 45%.
• Other physical requirements as specified.
