Job summary

VillageMD in New York City is seeking a Physical Therapy Manager to oversee the PT department, provide direct patient care, and report to the Director of Physical Therapy. The role requires leadership of a clinical team, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with HIPAA and billing standards.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of outpatient PT experience, a valid state license, BLS, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years physical therapy experience in outpatient care, preferably in a managerial role.
• Proven exceptional customer service and patient care experience.
• Self-motivated with ability to exceed patient expectations.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of employment, BLS certification.
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy School; Doctorate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
• Supervise, train and mentor all staff.
• Complete performance reviews.
• Maintain a safe clinical environment.
• Communicate with referring physicians as needed.
• Ensure billing compliance, production standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee front desk operations and patient experience standards.
• Perform patient evaluations and develop plans of care.
