Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a part-time Cleaner to help maintain a safe, sanitary gym environment in Enola, PA. You will perform daily cleaning tasks, sanitize equipment and locker rooms, and ensure a tidy, welcoming space for members.

Competitive starting pay at $11.00 per hour with scheduled increases at 180 days, 1 year, and every 6 months after the first year. Benefits include PTO, EAP, and gym membership options for staff.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize fitness equipment and gym floors.
• Clean locker rooms, restrooms, and shower areas.
• Stock supplies, report broken items to the Club Manager.

This includes:cleaning and sanitizing fitness equipment and gym floorcleaning and sanitizing the locker rooms, restroom facilities, shower facilities and locker areaproperly dispose of trash stock all supplies around club and in locker roomsreport broken or missing amenities or equipment (toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club ManagerJob Requirements:Successful prior custodial experienced preferredHigh School diploma/GED preferredMust be 18 years of age or olderPhysical Demands:Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pullingMust be able to lift up to 75 lbs.Continual standing and walking during shiftFrequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shiftContinual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shiftWill encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
