Job summary

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, is hiring a Cleaner in Germantown, Philadelphia. The position focuses on keeping clubs clean, sanitized and safe for members in a fast-paced gym environment.

Starting pay is $13.00 per hour with a 10am–6pm shift. Hourly increases occur at 180 days and anniversaries, with benefits including PTO, health options, 401K, life insurance, and more.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

Full - Time: Starting at $13.00 per hour.

Hours 10am-6pm varies.

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Cleaner Responsibilities:

As a member of our staff, the Cleaner plays a significant role in helping to transform the lives of club members by providing a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

• Thoroughly complete cleaning checklist daily to ensure all tasks are completed. This includes:
  • cleaning and sanitizing fitness equipment and gym floor
  • cleaning and sanitizing the locker rooms, restroom facilities, shower facilities and locker area
  • properly dispose of trash stock all supplies around club and in locker rooms
  • report broken or missing amenities or equipment (toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club Manager

QualificationsJob Requirements:

• Successful prior custodial experienced preferred
• High School diploma/GED preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Continual standing and walking during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
