Job summary

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, is hiring a part-time Cleaner in State College, PA. Starting pay is $11 per hour with scheduled increases at milestones and a 75 lb lifting requirement.

You’ll keep the club clean and safe for members and staff in a fast-paced fitness environment. As a member of our team, you’ll perform cleaning of equipment, floors, locker rooms and restrooms, dispose of trash, and report any equipment issues to the Club Manager.

Qualifications

• Successful prior custodial experience preferred.
• High School diploma/GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• cleaning and sanitizing fitness equipment and gym floor
• cleaning and sanitizing the locker rooms, restroom facilities, shower facilities and locker area
• properly dispose of trash stock all supplies around club and in locker rooms
• report broken or missing amenities or equipment (toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club Manager

• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
