Job summary

The Terraces of Phoenix - a HumanGood community in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Certified Caregiver to provide person-directed care and assist residents with daily living activities while helping them maximize independence.

You will follow our Philosophy for Person-Directed Care, support meals and comfort, and work with a collaborative care team to maintain a safe, respectful environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Current Caregiver training in Arizona.
• Current CPR certification.
• Prior nursing experience with Assisted Living or Memory Support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend in-service training workshops and meetings as required.
• Accurately report unusual symptoms and problems of residents to supervisor.
• Cooperate with dietary staff and provide general assistance with resident meals and cleanup; set tables, serve meals, clear tables and straighten dining room after meals.
• Support resident participation in all activities related to food and meal preferences and maintain relationships with dietary staff.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as required.
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed.
• Document on daily records.

Job description

Terraces of Phoenix, a HumanGood community, located in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a Certified Caregiver.
Our Certified Caregivers actively incorporate our “Philosophy for Person-Directed Care.” You would develop awareness of residents’ interests and needs, and assist residents to maximize their independence and participation by providing exemplary care to residents ranging from basic needs, to activities of daily living, to recreational activities. You would help create a safe environment in which to provide resident care.

Schedule: Monday, Friday
Shift: 2pm - 10pm
Salary: $18.55 - $22.30 per hour based on experience

To be successful in the role, you would have:

• Current Caregiver training in Arizona
• Current CPR certification
• Prior nursing experience with Assisted Living or Memory Support preferred

A day in the life:
