Job summary

Valet Park of America is seeking a part-time CDL B Shuttle Driver for Upstate Medical University Shuttle Service in Syracuse, NY. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 2pm–6pm, with potential weekend hours.

You will earn $25/hour with weekly pay, and health/dental insurance after 90 days. Paid vacation after one year and room for advancement are available. Must be over 20, with customer service experience, and hold a NY CDL B or higher with a passenger endorsement and a valid medical card.

Qualifications

• Must have NY Class B or higher CDL with passenger endorsement.
• Must be over 20 and have customer service experience.
• Valid NY medical card required.
• Background checks and driving test will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patrons in a polite manner and assisting them.
• Safely shuttling customers to various destinations.
• Opening and closing doors for patrons.
• Adhering to all traffic laws and signs for safe operations.
• Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet safety requirements.
• Recording passenger counts and trip times.
• Completing necessary paperwork involved in daily operations.
• Assisting in equipment setup and break down (signs, cones, etc.).
• Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness.
• Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management.
