Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of this job is to operate the register, handle goods, assist customers, restock, and maintain store cleanliness.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, and prepare for duties.
2. Set up checkout areas and displays as needed.
3. Provide exceptional customer service.
4. Operate the register, handle cash, and give change.
5. Bag items and assist with carts.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand safety policies.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements.
• Ability to learn and use store equipment.
• Complete the probationary period (30 or 60 days).
• Perform job functions safely and meet performance standards.
• Wear approved clothing and shoes.
• Have relevant technical training.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum shift: 4 hours.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for 55%, walk for 45% of the shift.

Preferred Requirements

• Understanding of company policies and procedures.
