Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of this job is to operate the register, handle goods, provide customer service, restock items, and assist with store cleanliness and organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review work schedule, prepare equipment and supplies at the start of each shift.
• Set up checkout areas, displays, and block aisles as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Operate the register, handle cash, and give change.
• Bag items and assist with cart management.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand safety policies.
• Meet physical and ergonomic requirements, with or without accommodations.
• Learn to use store equipment and tools.
• Complete the probationary period.
• Perform job functions safely and meet performance standards, including attendance.
• Wear proper uniform and shoes.
• Have relevant technical training.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum 4-hour shifts, depending on business needs.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for 55% of the shift, walk for 45%.
• Max pull static weight: 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

• Understanding of company policies and procedures.
