Job summary

Greencroft Communities in Indiana is seeking a Campus Security Officer to help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The schedule is Saturdays and Sundays, 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM, with duties including patrolling buildings and grounds, monitoring entrances, and responding to emergencies.

You will also provide escort services, assist with events, write security reports, and support after-hours operations.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

What You’ll Do:

• Patrol campus buildings and grounds (on foot and by vehicle) to ensure safety and security.

• Respond to emergencies and direct emergency services as needed.


• Provide escort services for staff at shift changes or after-hours.


• Monitor parking and assist with large events.

• Assist with after-hours maintenance calls, supply deliveries, and inter-campus mail.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Valid Driver’s License with a clean record (no violations in the past 3 years).


• Ability to stay alert, think quickly, and respond to emergency situations.


• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Active role with walking, standing, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs.)


• Ability to respond quickly and clearly in various situations.
