Job summary

Illinois Central College is seeking a part-time PT Events Assistant in East Peoria to support marketing events and campus activities. You will assist the Manager of Marketing and Special Events with planning, room scheduling, setup, and on-site event support.

The role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent customer service, with occasional evening or weekend hours for events. Compensation is $17.22–$19.37 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist Marketing and Special Events Manager in planning and executing campus events.
• Schedule rooms, coordinate setups, and submit work orders.
• Prepare correspondence, reports, and event documents.
• Manage calendars, meetings, and room reservations.
• Perform clerical tasks: copying, scanning, filing, data entry.
• Handle inquiries and route messages.
