Summary

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: The Beverage Server is responsible for serving beverages to guests and ensuring that their wants and needs are consistently exceeded. This is a part-time position with pay starting at $7/hr plus tips.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

1. Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly service of drinks ordered.
2. Properly inputs each order into the POS system.
3. Complies with all department rules, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls, and all local, state, and federal rules related to the service of liquor.
4. Follows S.M.A.R.T. or T.I.P.S. training protocols.
5. Prepares set-ups and garnishes drinks properly.
6. Retrieves used glasses.
7. Maintains proper balance of server bank where applicable.
8. Attends periodic meetings and training sessions.
9. Promotes positive public and employee relations.
10. Presents a neat and clean appearance at all times.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Requirements include:

• Must be 19 years or older.
• High school Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with mobile devices and touch screen technology.
• Experience with smartphones and tablets strongly preferred.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

WORK HOURS:

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

This position is responsible for selling, serving, or distributing alcoholic beverages and has authority for comps. A NE Gaming License must be secured and maintained. Other certifications include ServSafe and Alcohol Awareness.
