Job summary

Rivers Casino in Philadelphia is seeking a Beverage Server to mix and serve beverages in accordance with our guest service standards.

You will greet guests, take orders, verify age, monitor alcohol consumption, handle payments, and maintain a clean bar area. Flexible shifts, weekend and holiday availability are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years of related experience preferred.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of beverage order processing systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests immediately and takes drink/food orders.
• Inspects guest IDs to ensure legal age for alcohol.
• Monitors alcohol consumption per policy.
• Collects payment and follows cash handling procedures.
• Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies.
• Washes glasses and maintains a clean bar area.

Essential Job Functions:

• Greets guests immediately.
• Takes drink and/or food orders from customers or beverage servers.
• Inspects guest identification to ensure guest meets legal age limit for alcohol possession/consumption
• Monitors guest alcohol consumption and acts according to established alcohol awareness program guidelines.
• Collects payment and follows cash handling procedures.
• Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies.
• Washes glasses.
• Maintains clean and sanitary bar area.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
