Job summary

Rivers Casino Philadelphia is seeking a friendly bartender to mix and serve beverages according to established guest service standards. You will greet guests, take orders, verify IDs, monitor intoxication levels, process payments, and keep a clean bar area.

The ideal candidate has strong guest service skills, experience with beverage order systems, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced casino environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three or more years of related experience preferred.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of beverage order processing systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests immediately.
• Takes drink and/or food orders from customers or beverage servers.
• Inspects guest identification to ensure guest meets legal age limit for alcohol possession/consumption
• Monitors guest alcohol consumption and acts according to established alcohol awareness program guidelines.
• Collects payment and follows cash handling procedures.
• Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies.
• Washes glasses.
• Maintains clean and sanitary bar area.
• Resolves guest complaints.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
