DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a neat appearance and comply with personal appearance standards.
• Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Train and certify other associates when required.
• Ensure effective communication within the department and organization.
• Support management planning to maintain productivity.
• Adhere to safety standards, report equipment issues, and keep work areas safe and clean.
• Treat all colleagues with fairness, dignity, and respect.
• Develop product knowledge in bakery items such as rolls, desserts, cakes, muffins, bagels, coffees, and platters.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety standards.
• Prepare, proof, and bake bakery products as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Perform repetitive hand and arm motions while standing or walking.
• Lift up to 30 lbs. regularly and up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Reach shoulder level or overhead when lifting.
• Work in extreme hot/cold temperatures for limited periods.
• Operate controls and handle tools and substances related to cleaning, packaging, and food prep.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Provide friendly customer service and assist with product selection.
• Package, display, and organize bakery products efficiently.
• Replenish merchandise and prepare products or displays.
• Manage inventory, records, and sanitation procedures.
• Decorate cakes and personalize baked goods as needed.

Salary range: $15.00 - $19.65 hourly
