DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Observe and follow all company policies and procedures.
2. Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
3. Assist in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
4. Support training of associates when certified.
5. Ensure effective communication within the department and organization.
6. Follow management guidelines to maintain productivity.
7. Support safety standards, report equipment issues, and keep the work area safe and clean.
8. Treat all co-workers with fairness, dignity, and respect.
9. Develop product knowledge in bakery items such as rolls, desserts, cakes, muffins, bagels, coffees, and platters.
10. Maintain sanitation and food safety standards.
11. Prepare, proof, and bake products as assigned.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong communication, customer service, and sales skills.
• Interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for specific functions.

Physical Requirements

• Perform repetitive hand and arm motions while standing or walking.
• Lift up to 30 lbs. frequently and up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Reach overhead or to shoulder level while lifting lighter loads.
• Work in hot/cold environments for short periods.
• Operate controls and tools with hands.
• Handle cleaning and food substances safely.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Provide excellent customer service and assist with product selection.
• Package and display products according to standards.
• Organize bakery loads and replenish merchandise.
• Maintain accurate records of production, sales, and inventory.
• Clean and sanitize equipment regularly.
• Decorate cakes and personalize as needed.
• Meet physical requirements with or without accommodations.

Salary range: $15.00 - $19.65 per hour.
