DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a neat personal appearance per standards.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Support training and development of associates.
• Ensure effective communication within the department and organization.
• Adhere to management planning guidelines to ensure productivity.
• Uphold safety standards, report equipment issues, and maintain a clean work environment.
• Treat all colleagues with fairness and respect.
• Develop product knowledge in bakery items.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety standards.
• Prepare, proof, and bake bakery products as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Meet minimum age requirements for specific tasks.

Physical Requirements

• Repetitive hand and arm motions; standing/walking for most of the shift.
• Lift up to 30 lbs. frequently, up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Reach overhead or to shoulder level for handling items.
• Work in extreme temperatures for short periods.
• Operate controls and handle food and cleaning substances safely.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Provide excellent customer service and assist in product selection.
• Package, display, and organize bakery products.
• Replenish merchandise and prepare displays.
• Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and sales.
• Clean and sanitize equipment according to guidelines.
• Frost, ice, and decorate cakes as needed.
• Meet physical requirements with or without accommodations.

Salary range: $15.50 - $22.30 per hour.
