Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
2. Assemble ingredients, prepare and bake goods, and manage baking trays and ovens.
3. Package, label, and display baked goods; clean display cases; and ensure products are fresh and appealing.
4. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
5. Monitor and record product loss accurately.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. with valid identification.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to perform job duties and adhere to safety policies.
• Complete a 60-day introductory (probationary) period.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, including physical base scores.
• Learn to operate necessary equipment and tools safely.
• Perform all job functions safely and meet performance standards, including attendance.
• Wear proper uniform and footwear as approved.
• Preferred: 1 year of work experience or technical training.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts, variable based on business needs.
• Job involves continuous activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for approximately 55% of the time, walk 45%, sit 0%.
• Category IV physical activity: lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Maximum static pull: 20 lbs.
