Job summary

Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio is hiring a part-time Assistant Club Director (ACD) to support daily operations at the Westwood Club in Elyria, OH. The role reports to the Club Director and focuses on program oversight, staff coordination, and youth engagement.

The position requires a four-year degree and experience in supervision, with a schedule typical from 1 pm to 6 pm (Aug–May) and summer shifts possible. Opportunities exist for advancement and benefits include PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in related field from an accredited college or university.
• 1 year work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities.
• Demonstrated ability in personnel supervision, facilities management, and the recruitment and retention of key personnel.
• Ability to recruit, train, supervise and motivate staff.
• Effective communication skills both oral and written.
• Final candidates must clear a background check and drug test.
• Demonstrated ability in working with young people, parents, and community leaders.
• Valid State Driver’s License & CPR certification required (or obtain within 6 months of hire).

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio (BGCNEO) is seeking a dynamic and experienced PT Assistant Club Director (ACD) to assist with daily operations at our Westwood Club in Elyria, OH.

The ACD will report to the Club Director/Regional Area Director and be responsible for assisting in the management of one location; in the absence of the club director, serve as lead staff person at the site and work with administration, Club staff and volunteers to provide members with an optimal Club experience. Our hope is to find someone with a background in the following areas:

Program management, staff supervision, effective guidance and communication (both verbal and written) skills, Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or subsequent professional experience.

• This is a Part-time position, Monday through Friday - 25 hours/week - Payrate is $ 18.26 per hour.
• The work schedule is typically 1 pm- 6 pm (Aug-May) *may vary
• ***Summer Club Shift typically between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. (June through Mid- August) - full day shifts may be available during the Summer Season.
