Job summary

Domnovate is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a permanent, on-site role in Waldorf, Maryland. You will support the supervising physical therapist by implementing planned treatment, guiding gait and balance activities, and helping patients achieve daily independence.

This 40-hour/week position runs Monday–Friday with weekend rotation, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Maryland licensure or eligibility is required, with ongoing development and benefits provided by the client.

Qualifications

• Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant licensure or eligibility, with required licensure completed before practice.
• Accredited PTA education and clinical qualifications for PTA practice.
• Sound clinical reasoning, clear communication and a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment established by the supervising physical therapist and support mobility and functional goals.
• Provide planned therapeutic exercise, gait and balance activities and other interventions within your scope.
• Observe responses, document progress and communicate changes to the supervising physical therapist.
• Explain techniques clearly and help patients and caregivers participate safely.
• Document interventions, observations and progress accurately and promptly; follow safety and professional standards.
