Job summary

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate's degree in a Physical Therapy Assistant program and possess excellent communication skills. The position offers a schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Current state license or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• CPR certification.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating and treating patients with various physical conditions.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to improve mobility and function.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations and ethical standards.
