Job summary

• Prepare meal checks and collect payments using the POS system, including handling money and processing gifts or vouchers.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Overview

The Restaurant Server is responsible for providing the highest quality service to guests in an efficient and courteous manner. The Server takes food and beverage orders, retrieves and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food to guest tables, collects payments, and assists in keeping the area and equipment clean.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure guests are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
• Accurately prepare meal checks and collect payments, including use of the point‑of‑sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change, and processing gift cards, room credits, and vouchers.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Perform any other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent or experience in a hotel or related field a PLUS.
