Job summary

The Eisenberg Assisted Living Residence on the campus of The Jewish Healthcare Center in Worcester, MA is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant. The role covers memory/dementia care and requires coordinating and implementing activities for residents, including those with dementia, to meet diverse needs.

Shifts are 3pm to 7pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. This is a 12-hour per week position with a supportive team environment and opportunities to contribute to quality of life for

Qualifications

• Prior experience with a geriatric population preferred but not required.
• Experience with dementia care preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group activities.
• Ensure activities engage residents of all functioning levels.
• Assist in the dining room and other areas as needed.
