CapitolHill Consortium for Counseling & Consultation LLC is seeking one or more psychotherapists to join our multidisciplinary clinic serving the Washington, DC metro area. We offer flexible part-time or full-time opportunities with hybrid, remote, or in-office service options.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be independently licensed in Virginia or Maryland. Licensure across all jurisdictions is a plus.
• Must be local to the DC metro region.
• 1–3 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Willingness to operate on a hybrid schedule (remote, hybrid, or in-office).

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy tailored to clients’ needs.
• Develop and monitor treatment plans; refer as appropriate.
• Assess and manage risk; ensure client safety.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Collaborate with administrative staff to support patient care.

We are seeking one or more psychotherapists to join our collaborative clinical team and provide high-quality, culturally responsive, patient-centered care to diverse populations across the lifespan. Psychotherapists who specialize in child, adolescent, adult, and elder care are welcome.

Dedicated Administrative Support.

Our administrative team manages many of the operational demands of practice—including scheduling, billing, credentialing, insurance coordination, and patient support—allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

• Insurance credentialing, contracting, and authorization
• Insurance billing, claims, and collections
• Appointment scheduling and Waitlist management
• Electronic health record support
• Dedicated intakes, billing, and administrative staff for support
• Office space, equipment, and routine supplies, as available

Key Clinical Responsibilities

Psychotherapist responsibilities include:

• Treatment — Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and other appropriate interventions tailored to clients’ needs.
• Treatment planning — Establish goals with clients, monitor progress, modify treatment when needed, and make referrals when another service is more appropriate.
• Client safety — Assess and respond appropriately to risks such as suicide, self-harm, abuse, violence, or other urgent concerns, following applicable laws and professional standards.
• Documentation — Maintain accurate, timely, and secure clinical records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and relevant communications.
• Other responsibilities as required

Required Qualifications

• Candidates must be independently licensed in Virginia or Maryland. Licensure in Washington, D.C. is preferred, with priority given to clinicians licensed across all jurisdictions
• Priority consideration given to clinicians willing to serve pre-adolescent populations
• Passion for high-quality, compassionate mental health care
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Desired experience 1-3 years
• Must be local

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with range of diverse clientele
• Availability during after-school hours, evenings, or weekends
• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule (some in-person availability preferred)
