Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Port Orange, FL seeks a Psychotherapist Intern for outpatient clinic settings. The role supports CSW/MHC/MFT tracks and offers independent contractor status with flexible hours and telehealth options.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field and an active Florida Intern license (or in process), with outpatient experience preferred. Compensation is hourly, with malpractice insurance and administrative support provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage & family therapy.
• Active Florida Intern license or in the process of obtaining one.
• Work experience in an outpatient setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with mental health conditions.
• Provide different modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and families about mental health conditions and strategies.
• Document services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Stay current with advancements in psychotherapy and counseling through continuing education.
