Harmony United Psychiatric Care seeks a Psychotherapist Intern for an outpatient clinic in Palm Harbor, FL. Independent Contractor role providing psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapy across multiple modalities.

The position requires a master’s degree in relevant fields and an active Florida Intern license (or in process), with outpatient experience preferred. Flexible hours and telehealth options may be available to balance patient care and professional development.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage & family therapy
• Candidate must have an active Florida Intern license or in the process of getting one
• Work experience in an outpatient setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Providepsychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
• Provide different modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
• Provide documentation of the services rendered in compliance with the company policies and procedures.
• Stay current with advancements in psychotherapy and counseling through continuing education and professional development.
